Define raw food: Raw food is unprocessed, unheated food in its natural state. Usually it consists of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains, and seasonings.
A raw food diet does not mean you have to eat 100% raw food. Some people do, but most people, after they see the amazing benefits of a raw food diet, increase the percentage of raw food that they eat every day.
Any increase in the amount of raw food you eat brings benefits in the form of:
- More energy
- Stronger immune system
- Better digestion
- Increased mental clarity
- Weight control
Of course, the higher the increase of raw foods you eat, the greater the benefits!
